As part of an internal event, Google DeepMind — the artificial intelligence branch of Google — needed to create a temporary logo-symbol to be used across various materials and signage to guide its employees within a hotel. For confidentiality reasons, Google DeepMind could not use its official logo, nor any design that resembled it too closely.
This project was carried out during my internship at the agency UNEXPECTED in March 2024.
To subtly echo Google’s identity without replicating it, the color palette uses the same hues as the Google logo, but in slightly altered shades. These tones were chosen for their vibrancy, creating a joyful and playful atmosphere. The artificial intelligence aspect is represented through straight lines ending in large dots, evoking the look of circuit boards and network or connection icons.
